The Gemstone Excavation Kit lets you excavate a mixture of tumbled gemstones from a special plaster block!

Use the tools and techniques of a geologist to carefully unearth 5 different types of gemstones concealed within the plaster.

As you work, you will see the form of your stones begin to take shape. It's buried treasure for you to keep!

What a great way for your kids to kick-off their own collection of precious gemstones and discover the thrill of scientific excavation!

You'll find Aventurine, Quartz, Rose Quartz, Amethyst and Red Jasper buried in your earth block.

Your kids will be fascinated and inspired as they carefully excavate their precious specimens!

Your kit includes: A plaster block (containing your gemstones), a hammer with pick tool, chisel, brush, sponge and instructions.

Please note: Approximately 40g of gemstones is added to each block. The quantity of tumbled gemstones will vary according to their size. There may be 10-12 in total! Contents may vary from those pictured.

Recommended for ages 8 and up.
