Your unique device has a measuring wheel, clock face and hand to help measure the length of curved lines on topographic maps and plans.

It is a common tool for map-makers, tourists and road services as it can accurately calculate the distance between two points on a map!

Use the illustrated instructions to piece together the parts in this hands-on engineering project. There's no glue or special tools required!

Then, scan the QR code on your pack to receive a learning guide about your mechanism that allows you to interact with your UGears model!

Very cool

Fairly easy to build, and the gear / cam mechanism is fascinating. I especially appreciated the contruction aids for getting the rubber edge onto the wheel.
