Also required but not included are 1 x AA battery and a small cross head screwdriver.

I bought this for my grandsons 6th birthday, it was an instant hit. It works around the table and has a sensor which detects the edges, or obstructions, and just navigates its way around them. It never falls off the table. A brilliant gift, which he played with, whenever he had a spare moment.

Brought for my 9 year old. He loved building it then getting it to work. Great that it moves around a table without falling off. He was impressed by that :-)

A great time spent with my 4-year-old son. He was attentive to the end, was able to use the screwdriver and manipulated small parts... that was the way to talk about electricity and electrical polarity! In short, we had a great time... however, we still don't have the explanation of how this robot decides to change course at the edge of the table. A little explanatory note would have been great!
