Very cool
Building this clock was a huge challenge for me. At first, I could only get it to run for about three hours. But after disassembling it several times, applying wax, and sanding some parts—especially the hour-hand mechanism—I finally got it to work! As the photo shows, it ran for an incredible 6 hours and 25 minutes with the engine turned off! After tweaking a lot with the pendulum, I was also able to achieve a difference of only 4 seconds compared with a stopwatch over that entire period!! This is a fantastic piece of engineering, and there were times I truly felt like a clockmaker. It gave me many hours of fun during and specially after its assembly. Thank you again, Ugears! You're geniuses!

Very cool
This order was a present for my son for his 50th birthday. He has recently bought a house to renovate and when he has time he will start on the clock. It was his choice to have that as a present.

Very easy to assemble and very clear guidance, the mechanism works perfect and very smooth. It's one of my favorite Ugears mechanism, I love to hear it ticking and see the continuous movement !

Very cool
This is my first ugears model, and I am very happy with it. I was surprised by the extra equipment that came with it. The instructions were helpful, but there were some places where I wished it was more detailed. For this model you have to be careful which pieces go where and their position. It is doable, but not easy to take pieces apart if you've made a mistake, so watch what you're doing. The hardest part of this model was attaching the spring. The steps leading up to part d5 were hard to follow, but watching the assembly video helped. The last step of the model where you are trying to get the clock to tick was also difficult. It took me a while to get the clock going. Although the instructions say you can turn the dial 14 times, i could only turn the dial 9 times before it refused to turn any more. After this, when the spring wound down and I tried to wind it back up, the spring made a click and loosened. Regardless, I am happy with this model, and I had a lot of fun building it.
