Take a trip down memory lane with this nostalgic mechanical model, the Ugears Carousel!

This outstanding plywood model looks just like the familiar and beloved merry-go-round ride from the fair.

You may even smell the aroma of hot dogs and cotton candy as you watch the beautiful carousel horses rock up and down!

All of the parts are joined without glue or additional tools, whilst the motion energy is provided by a clever rubber band motor.

Wind up the key on the base to provide tension to the rubber bands, or if you’d prefer, you can even rotate your carousel by hand!

Piece your model together including the pendulum and crankshaft, then watch it spin using fascinating dynamics!

Your kit contains: 305 high quality pre-cut plywood pieces, cut with high-precision lasers.

Assmebled size: 21cm x 21cm x 26cm

This was my first set. I have owned it for a few years before finally getting to put it together. I only broke 1 piece but luckily there was an extra. I was able to put most of it together without an external tool however the tiny decoration along the top I did need something to help push them together. I absolutely love it and can't wait to bring it to work.

Bought this for my little niece and we had so much fun building it. She wanted to paint each piece individually which made it even more fun. I would highly recommend this as a gift or a special treat for yourself. It is so mesmerising when completed!

This was my first UGEAR to build and it was so much fun and turned out great! The string length in my instruction book was too long but with a few adjustments to scale to the associated pictures it works magnificently! I’m actually looking for a newer and more difficult one to do now. What a fun project! Any advice on a new UGEARS to tackle?
