Your Star Wars Metal Earth R2-D2 is a small-scale replica of the friendly Astromech Droid in the ever-popular Star Wars sci-fi franchise.

Made from a pair of completely flat, laser-etched steel sheets, simply pop out the tiny pieces and then bend, fold and assemble them together using the illustrated instructions as a guide!

Your kit requires no special tools or glue thanks to their ingenious slot and tab design, however we have found that a pair of needle nose pliers or tweezers can make precise assemblies a little bit easier. It may take you a few hours to complete!

If you're working on a number of models, the Metal Earth 3 Piece Tool Kit will make things quicker and easier!

While your Metal Earth model is miniature in size, the laser-etched details allow your model to take on a life of it's own. Measuring approximately 7.5cm x 7.3cm x 5.1cms, your mini R2-D2 is truly spectacular!

I am happy to give a review. I have two adult sons who are not the easiest to buy for so near their birthday and Christmas I always check out this site. Cool Things have not disappointed me particularly for my sons. They are both big Star Wars fans and the R2D2 metal Earth will give my son the opportunity to build the robot. I am sending it on to Perth for his birthday.
