How does a water pump work you may ask? Learn the basic mechanics with this 4M KidzRobotix Hydrant Robot.

Your cute, googly-eyed red hydrant robot measures 20cm tall once assembled. Watch his head jump as you operate your water pump!

Take your robot outside and practice filling cups through the short water tubes, or create a water jet that reaches between 1.5 and 2 metres.

You can use a cup or water bottle as your water source, or connect your mini hydrant to a swimming pool for unlimited water pumping!

Learn how the gears, shafts and piston interact with each other to draw water into the cylinder and push it out through the outlet.

Your will receive:

  • All of the plastic parts required to assemble your robot (including sliders, shafts, tubes and holders)
  • Plus screws, washers, pegs, googly eyes and illustrated instructions (scan the QR code on the box for instructions in different languages).

Also required but not included: 2 x AAA batteries, a small Phillips head screwdriver, a plastic drink bottle and cups.

Recommended for ages 8 and up. Adult guidance recommended.
