Did you know that the principle of magnetism is used to propel special trains that can travel at speeds over 500km an hour? These trains are known as magnetic levitation trains and are used in many countries such as Germany, Japan and China.

Well, the Kidz Lab Magnetic Racer uses this same principle, but on a small scale so that it can be enjoyed by everyone, young or old!

Watch how this magnificent racer moves without electrical energy or a driver, and at the same time learn about the might power of a magnet and how it can be used to drive this racer!

Simply push or pull the racer with the included Mini Mighty Magnet, driving it wherever you please.

How does it work?

There is a magnet embedded inside the racer. When the mini mighty magnet is placed near the racer, it will attract the racer or push it away depending on the poles. Opposite poles attract and the same poles repel, how cool is that!

Magnetic force also works through a solid, so the racer can still be controlled by the mighty magnet placed under the table top.
