This cool vortex valve tornado tube is designed to demonstrate how a tornado is created.

Simply choose two large soft drink bottles of the same size, fill one with water, then connect them together with the special Tornado Tube Vortex Valve. With a flick of the wrist you'll create a tornado in a bottle!

It's great scientific fun. Add food colouring to the water for an even cooler effect!

Also available in a classroom 25 pack.

Please note: As this is a water activity, it is best done outside or over a science bench. If you experience leakage, please try using cling wrap around the bottle thread - not over the top. It is normal to experience a small amount of water on the outside depending on the bottles used.

We played with this the day we got the package. Followed the instructions and I got to lecture the kids on science and how great it was. They responded by ignoring me and going off the make more tornados! Small, but fun.

I've had these tornado tube valves before (from another supplier), and these were a replacement. I was definitely happy, as these came with 'O' rings to prevent leakage, which has always been a problem in the past.

My daughters project was due in 5 days and we ordered from cool things and it came extra quick for us within 48hrs, other kids projects were leaking but not my daughters.. the team at cool things supplied rubber stoppers to stop leaks from the bottles.. her project was a stand out and received an A grade :) Thanks cool things!
