Hey there rock hunters, with this book and kit, you'll discover all sorts of cool facts about rocks and minerals!

Use the included digging tool to gently scrape away the plaster earthen block in the shape of a volcano. When you see an object, continue digging very carefully and remove the remaining plaster from the object with the brush!

Once all 6 rocks have been excavated from your volcano, make sure they are completely clean, then label them in reference to the Rock Identification Key and Illustrations in the booklet provided! Do you have Basalt, Granite or Pumice?

There are 15 genuine specimens in total for you to collect, and your pack will have an assortment of 6 of these. You will learn all about Igneous rocks, Sedimentary rocks and Metamorphic Rocks as you learn about the Rock Cycle over the years.
