The Energy StickRated 5/5 based on 12 reviews.
Spark an interest in circuitry as you use your Energy Stick to turn your body into a human conductor of electricity!
Completely safe to touch with child-safe electrodes, make a human chain by holding hands with your friends or classmates, and complete a circle by having two people touch the electrons on either end of the Energy Stick simultaneously. The LED lights will flash and the buzzer will sound when the circuit is formed. But if someone let's go and breaks the circuit, the lights will stop.
See how many people you can connect through electricity, or why not test the electricity in your own body by touching the electrodes with both hands. It makes the perfect tool for learning about electrical conductors and the transfer of energy as you test other household objects for their electrical conductivity!
You will receive: 1 x 17cm Energy Stick with long-lasting LED's, a buzzer and child-safe electrodes.
Recommended for ages 6 and up.

Teaching toyBy: Nura on 26 November 2018Amazing product!!! I used this to teach my year 9s about electrical circuits. It was a fun way to get them to engage. It came in 1-2 days and I was amazed at how well this little gadget worked in the classroom!!!
Brilliant for understanding electricity circuits!By: Alida Walsh on 27 August 2018This simple resource is great for teaching energy concepts of circuits and conductors/insulators. I am a pre-service teacher and even used this resource with pre-schoolers. As the child becomes part of the circuit, they have hands-on experience of how electricity works. Ask a large group of children to form a circle and hold hands then have two children hold either side of Energy Stick. The lights of the Energy Stick will flash because a circuit has been formed. Ask two children to stop holding hands and the Energy Stick will not work. Then ask two children to hold various items between them to find out which materials will allow the Energy stick to work (e.g. metal, plastic, cloth, bowl of water etc.). The children will be amazed and want to find other objects to test their hypotheses.

TeacherBy: Steve Thomson on 24 May 2018I purchased the energy stick to demonstrate simple circuits in order to explain open and closed circuits. In the round with twenty eight kids it worked its magic, some even commented that it was such “a cool thing” thank you.
