The KidzLabs Electric Marble Run lets you build your very own motorised marble run, a visual learning tool that teaches the laws of motion!

Similar to those spiral wishing wells you drop coins into at the mall, watch as the marble travels around the chute, rather than rolling straight down the hole.

Watch it drop lower and lower on the spiral as friction gradually slows it down, making it seem as though it's moving down a long and spiralling ramp!

The battery-operated motor will collect your marble at the base, turning the wheel until the ball returns to the top position, falling out again to enter the spiral.

It's a wonderful example how gravitational potential energy can be converted into kinetic energy, helping you to learn some basic laws of motion along the way!

Your kit includes: All of the plastic parts required to build the marble run including connectors, gears, metal balls and motor.

Also required but not included: A small crosshead screwdriver and 1 x AAA battery.

Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Kids' Toys marble run

Recently purchased the Electric Marble Run to entertain grandson No. 3 who stayed with us during the school holidays, the idea was that he and Grandson No.4 would both play with it. Anyway, they liked it so much we had to buy a second one for No.4 . An unexpected bonus was that nearly all visiting adults are intrigued by it and want a play.
