Conduct 7 crystal growing experiments with the educational kit. Watch the crystals sparkle and grow before your eyes!

Display them in the specially designed display cases included for a cool crystal collection for your bedroom or mantel piece!

The size of your crystals will vary with your largest crystal growing to around 5cm in diameter and 4cm high and your smallest crystal measuring approximately 2.5cm in diameter and 2cm high.

The size, shape and colour of your crystals may vary depending on the experimental conditions.

Contents of your kit:
- (3) large bags of white crystal compound and (3) small bags of seeding mixture
- (1) large display base with hexagonal transparent cover as well as (2) medium and (4) small similar display bases
- (1) stirring bowl and (1) stirring spoon
- (1) large ring-shaped template as well as (2) medium and (4) small similar ring-shaped templates.

Everything you need to make your crystals is included in this kit along with detailed instructions.

Please note: This kit does contain some chemicals that can be classified as safety hazards. Please read the instructions before use, follow them and keep them for reference.

Recommended for ages 10 and up.
Some adult guidance recommended.

I didn't have high expectations - but this crystallisation kit worked quite well in the end. Just follow the instructions and you can't go far wrong. It takes about a week before the crystals are large enough to be harvested. The larger pot takes a few days longer. The mix colour crystals gave nice results. Its a fun way to get kids interested in basic science. The age indication is for 14 & upwards, but I think this would be more more interesting for the 10-12 age group. Not a bad kit overall.

First thing read the instruction. These do work best when using freshly boiled water, distrurb as little as possible, don't keep in a room too hot or too cold I did two of these kits and one during heat wave didn't work as well. The crystal climbers it's best to take out rather than push back in. Make sure u don't ignore them as I left for 2 hours and they took over in the heat. When the crystals are to size drain the liquid don't wait for all the liquid to evaporate. Wear gloves when handling the crystals. Work out what colours you want before you start as the seed crystals come with just enough so big crystal is one pack, so don't use all one colour of want different shades or colours than white, red and blue. Or as my first one white, red, blue, purple and one was red,blue and pink. It's a great kit to do with kids but maybe have adult mix, handle and display and let kids watch then grow and in display case ( maybe tape the case or could drop on floor and break (yes I dropped few b4 taped them)

This is a great Crystal making kit. We’ve had others in the past which have been basically just crystallised salt and the end product has been less than impressive. These on the other hand actually grow to look like real crystals. Niece was very impressed and I’ll be buying another for my daughters birthday

Santa gave this to my daughter. You have enough resources in the box to make one large, two medium and four small crystals. There is 3 colours provided on the box, red, blue and white, however the instructions give you mixing gudiance for more colours. Easy to follow guidance. Was very impressed how easy it was. Good results (only make one so far).
