Very cool

I've always been fascinated by such small scenes and enjoy watching YouTube videos of how much more talented people than me create something like this seemingly out of thin air. And now, here was the opportunity for me to create something similar. The set arrived quickly and has a decent weight to it. The small wooden pieces themselves are light, but all together they do weigh something. The print quality is great, the individual pieces are very easy to detach, and while the instructions seem a little confusing at first glance, they are actually quite easy to read. The only downside: the included glue is completely useless. I replaced it with superglue and lo and behold, everything holds and looks great!

Very cool

I'd been wanting to build a book nook for a while, so I was thrilled to try "The Violin Detective Agency" from Tonecheer DIY. It's a high-quality, challenging craft kit for adults – in this case, themed around Sherlock Holmes' detective agency. The book nook comes in a beautifully designed box containing all three hundred pieces, mostly made of pressed wood laminate. Besides the wooden pieces that need to be broken out of their respective sheets for assembly, there are also the corresponding pieces for the lighting, which can be integrated into the detective agency during construction. Most importantly, however, is the assembly instruction manual, which precisely outlines each step and without which building the book nook would be impossible. What is not included and which you absolutely must provide yourself: proper glue - the included stick is of little help if you want to glue the wooden elements together. The actual assembly takes a lot of time – you should plan on 5-6 hours to complete the box. It took me a Sunday afternoon to finish. The most time-consuming part is breaking the elements out of the sheets and placing them in the correct positions. Gluing the elements together (books, which first need to be "made," into stacks and onto shelves) is also quite involved. Generally, a lot of dexterity is required, as well as patience. You also need to be somewhat creative and improvise if elements break despite all precautions – there are some spare elements, conveniently marked as backups, but naturally, the elements that are only available once are the ones that break during assembly. The lighting is very nice, works perfectly, and is a great highlight for the detective agency. Installing the lighting and wiring is the most time-consuming and requires the most patience during assembly – fortunately, the assembly instructions are a real help, as they explain exactly where everything goes and which element connects and secures each component. Once finished, transparent plexiglass elements are added to prevent the book nook from getting dusty. These are very well integrated into the completed book alley and give the violin detective agency with Holmes and Watson the perfect finishing touch. Overall, the "Violin Detective Agency" kit from Tonecheer DIY offers many exciting hours of crafting and boasts a very beautiful, atmospheric result. Thanks to the detailed instructions, even beginners can assemble the booknook, but should allow plenty of time and patience. Anyone who has always wanted to make a booknook or generally loves such craft kits will enjoy the "Violin Detective Agency" from Tonecheer DIY. Highly recommended.

Very cool

This was my first book shelf miniature that I every assembled. I was overwhelmed at first but after re-reading the directions and getting some of the initial steps completed I was on a roll. I enjoyed the process and I enjoy looking at it on my bookshelf.

Very cool

This kit is extraordinary! As long as you have the time and patience, there is so much to do and so many little steps that you can stretch this out for months. All the pieces seem to be of very high quality, and they fit together very well. Some bits may need some painting, some parts snap when trying to push them together (so we just super glue them together and keep going). What we have done so far looks really incredible! I would recommend this for anyone really into building model kits (basically what this is). I am, so I love it!

Very cool

This was the perfect gift for Christmas! My friend has always been interested in these little models and they also like Violins! I was happy to get this product as a gift because it was exactly what I was going to buy because they like these types of gifts. Assembly was pretty straight forward but the person assembling it is also a CAD designer so I don't know if that helps. They said it was easy to build and everything fit just right. The really cool part about this model is how it lights up! I love when things just come together just right.
