This old-timey UGears Pickup Lumberjack Model Kit is a working truck with a job to do.

Based on the popular 1959 Chevy 3100, your model features a small spring motor that allows it to travel up to 6 metres, while hauling loads of up to 450g in the truck bed!

It’s ready to assemble straight out of the box too, with no special tools or glue required. Just follow the detailed instructions available in 11 different languages.

Once it's built, lift the hood to reveal the beautiful V8 engine firing away, while the winding knob doubles as an open top air filter emerging from the hood!

With 3 driving modes including neutral and reverse, your pickup even has a small pendulum under the seats to simulate the shaking of a truck’s powerful engine!

Watch as your truck's doors open from inside and out, while the tailgate also folds down. It even has all-round suspension for coping with rough country roads!

Number of parts: 460

Estimated time of assembly: 8 hours (difficulty level: advanced).

Assembled dimensions: 31.6cm x 13.8cm x 11.8cm

Recommended for ages 14 and up.

This was such fun to assemble, as are all Ugears models I've done so far. The attention to detail is unmatched. I've done other models, and I always come back to Ugears because of this. One warning - be careful when you assemble the fenders, as the expandable area is easily broken. I had to repair with thread as glue wouldn't hold it.

Very nice model, really did not expect such a result :). The assembly is simple and at the same time interesting, a model for evening relaxation. Works like a watch, the only thing for me is rather weak rear suspension, put a tangerine and she immediately sank :). Review can be viewed on the channel Incredible Gears

I just finished this model. Again I am amazed at the details. I agree with some other reviewers there are some delicate parts. I broke on dealing with the assembly of the door. However I little glue and all was well. I am enjoying making videos with my new pickup truck. Any recommendations on which one should next?

. One little glitch that I found is that at the very beginning of the assembly you have to immediately deal with the spring that powers the truck. the spring supplied with my kit was already unwound without any means ( a clip of some sort) to keep it in its smaller circumference while working wit it.... times! the solution was to "try" to hold it on the base and to secure it with the top part of the base (separate part) I might add that the warnings printed in the instructions are very timely and must be adhered to lest you injure yourself from a " flying spring"..KEEP THE ASSEMBLY AWAY FROM YOUR FACE AND EYES WHILE TRYING TO WORK WITH IT I still give it 5 stars though because it turned out great!!

This is a delightful little model. The details are amazing. It was a joy to put together because the parts are very precise and fit very well. One problem is that somewhere the gears are jammed now and I cannot get it to go again. Also, I believe this to be a 1957 Chevy, not 1959.

It works as it is supposed to work I guess. Forward-reverse. Only problem is even when fully wound the truck only moves about 4 or 5 feet and very slowly.
