Get ready to explore the moon with the UGears NASA Lunar Rover Wooden Model Kit!
This fantastic 1:15 scale "moon buggy" is designed to closely resemble the original Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) used by NASA.
Whether you're a space enthusiast or a model-building fan, this kit offers an engaging and educational experience that's out of this world!
The LRV features pivoting wheels, a dish antenna, a front-mounted camera, and a clever mechanism that folds it into a compact form for rocketship transport.
As you unfold the wheel sections, you'll be amazed as the axles snap into place and the wheels with rubber treads automatically pop into position!
A hidden key under the chassis winds the ratchet mechanism, allowing the rover to travel up to 3 metres with the Start/Stop switch.
This detailed model also includes twin folding seats for astronauts, and a model camera arm for mission control to record your adventures!
Engraved details represent the electric wires on the original LRV, while cut-outs and design touches add to the realistic look and feel!
Made from art-quality composite wood, the rover's dynamic transformer mechanism and rubber treads ensure traction and durability.
- 319 components for a comprehensive build
- Windup key for a working ratchet mechanism
- No glue or special tools needed for assembly
Assembled dimensions: 20cm x 9.5cm x 13.5cm (takes approximately 8 hours to build). Suitable for ages 14 and up.
Embark on your own lunar mission with the UGears NASA Lunar Rover Wooden Model Kit. It's the perfect gift for space lovers and model enthusiasts alike!
