The Ugears Horse Mechanoid is, put simply, a wooden bionic horse that walks!
Consisting of 410 laser-cut plywood pieces, your mechanical model takes around 8-9 hours to complete.
On completion, you'll get to experience how the joints and leg movements closely resemble that of a real horse!
This is thanks to the special design established by Ugears in order to achieve complete stability in motion.
Powered by rubber bands, gears, cranks and gravity, you'll get to appreciate the beauty of a real walking quadruped controlled by a pendulum.
The oscillations of the pendulum slow the transmission of energy from the rubber band motor to the legs, extending the walking time!
When your horse moves, he’ll shake his head swaying his soft rubber mane!
You will receive: 410 laser-cut colour-coded wooden pieces and easy to follow instructions in 11 different languages.
Your kit requires neither glue nor special tools to be fully assembled into a functional walking horse.
Please note: Your horse is no long-distance runner, the distance it can cover in one winding is just enough for you to observe the unique inner mechanisms at play.
