Paying tribute to the Shelby Cobra 427, your beast of a vehicle is a beautifully-styled, two-seat convertible with a powerful spring motor.
To begin your build, pop out the high-grade wooden parts and follow the illustrated instructions - no glue required.
Once assembled, your supercar has the capacity to drift and cover a distance of up to 8 metres!
To get things started, move the air filter towards the windshield, flip the lock switch, and twist the rachet underneath the body.
After 6-6.5 turns, the spring is fully loaded and your racer is ready to roar! Vroom, vroom! Set the gear shift lever to reverse, neutral or drive.
It really is a truly exceptional model, with fat tires, bulging curves, a big open mouth upfront and an open-air convertible design.
The moving parts include, but are not limited to, turning front wheels, opening doors, and a hood and trunk that can be raised!
- Turn the front wheels fully to one side, set it down on a smooth surface (such as tiles) and watch it peel out in a sideways skid
- Set the wheels in a gentler turn (or place on a less slippery surface) and watch your drift cobra complete two or three full circles
- When it’s wheels are set in their straight position, the model will cover the most distance (8 metres or more)!
Everything you need for this challenging but doable DIY wooden puzzle comes in the box, including the metal spring that powers the mechanism.
