Created by mechanical engineer Denys Fisher, the Spirograph, originally a drafting tool, was an instant hit in the toy world and has been fascinating people ever since its first introduction in 1965.
It is a mathematical toy, which you can use for drawing nice figures. In the simplest case it exists of a fixed circle, used as a template, and a smaller rolling circle with holes.
It creates beautiful, intricate designs from the motion of gears around wheels, the mathematics and art are awe-inspiring. But, the Deluxe Original Spirograph is a revolution that's even better!
