Big Ben, or the bell of the clock tower at the northern end of the Palace of Westminster is one of London's most iconic landmarks and must-see London attractions. It looks spectacular at night when the four clock faces are illuminated, and a special light also lights up the clock face when parliament is in session! Did you know that each of the minutes hands measure a whopping 4.2 metres long?!
Now, using a hobby knife, some glue and a pair of tweezers, you can create a miniature replica of the world famous landmark containing tiny details and an iconic red tour bus as the clock tower stands on the bank of the River Thames. It makes a wonderful gift for the patriot or London Lover in your life, or simply as a treat for yourself. It will provide hours of fun and entertainment!
Your model starts out as flat, laser-cut card stock sheets. Follow along with the coloured instructions to carefully pop out the pieces, bend the tabs and connect the points to turn the pieces into an amazing 3D model of London's Big Ben.
