This Massive Erupting Volcano STEM Experiment Kit lets you simulate your very own earth-shattering 30cm volcano at home!
Slide the sturdy cardboard frame together to build a huge volcano replica, using hardening plaster-coated fabric strips to make it looks real!
Then, it’s up to you to bring your volcano to life. Paint it and decorate it with the included dinosaur cut-outs and pre-historic trees!
It's time for action! Mix the two non-hazardous powders, dye and water together to create a chemical reaction of flowing red ooze…
It looks just like the awe-inspiring molten hot lava that flows from a real cataclysmic volcanic eruption. Learn how it can affect life here on Earth!
With 6 packets of safe-to-use chemicals included, you can erupt your volcano multiple times, as you watch the lava bubble and flow!
Your kit contains:
- 23 pieces including a slot-together cardboard volcano frame that enables you to choose between 2 volcano shapes
- Paint, dye, a spatula, bandage rolls and all the chemicals required to simulate a volcanic eruption
- A large, full-colour scientific poster of a volcano with illustrated instructions and lots of educational information about volcanoes and dinosaurs!
You will also need: A paintbrush, a large shallow bowl, scissors, a tablespoon, water, newspaper, two glasses, a large plastic bag and hand soap.
