Now even the youngest person can delve into the exciting world of palaeontology !

The Ichthyosaurus has a strange name, and to be honest doesn't sound like a real dinosaur. Right?

Wrong. With its name meaning 'lizard fish', the Ichthyosaurus was discovered in 1811 in southern England by a 12 year old girl. And soon the Germans discovered several more complete and well preserved skeletons of this exciting Ichthyosauridae.

With up to a metre long cranium fitted with cone shaped teeth which were sometimes curved, the Ichthyosaurus fed on fish and cephalopods. And now he's back, ready to be discovered by you!

Start a palaeontologist adventure with your very own hammer and chisel included in this fantastic Ichthyosaurus Excavation Kit!

Giving you the amazing opportunity to release 16 parts of a Ichthyosaurus skeleton from a block of earth, you can then assemble the pieces together to create your very own model for display in your room!

With all the instructions and tools you need to complete this 31cm long masterpiece, the Ichthyosaurus kit is perfect for any dinosaur-lovers around.

Once assembled Ichthyosaurus measures approximately 31cm long.
