Build your very own Green Science Hybrid Crabot that has a mixture of two forms of power - solar or battery power!

To assemble, simply pop out the plastic parts, connect the wires to their terminals and twist the parts into place using the twist-on screw caps.

If the sun is shining, you can slide the power switch to solar-powered mode and twist the mini solar panel towards the sun. Watch your crabot scuttle along!

But, when the sun is no longer shining, switch him across to use the battery instead, he'll continue to crawl along happily with the side to side movement of his legs!

What a wonderful way for your young ones to learn about alternative energy principles as it's long legs work together to tippy-toe across your desktop!

Your kit includes: All the pop-out plastic parts required for your build, including a battery box, solar panel and googly eyes, as well as fully illustrated instructions.

Also required but not included: A small crosshead screwdriver. Requires 1 x AAA battery (not included).

Recommended for ages 5 and up (adult guidance required).

Very cool

Crabby! Walks great but will tip over. Runs on batteries or the sun. Easy to put together. The walking motion is fascinating to young eyes!
