What an extraordinary pair of geeky cuff links! Now you can watch the inner workings of a watch!
Forget mundane, if you're looking for a gift that is highly unusual for your grandpa, husband or old fashioned man, these mechanical clockwork cuff links are a simple but effective gift with genuine moving parts and wind up watch movements housed inside a highly polished mounting.
Simply wind up the watch movement and listen as it starts to tick. The large gold wheel will start to spin backwards and forwards for wearable engineering on your shirt cuffs! What a wonderful talking point at work, an Engineering ball or even at your next business meeting!
So if you know someone who is curious, contemplative or just interested in how things work, these Clockwork Cufflinks fit the bill as the perfect gift. They'll run for hours with just a few twists of the crown dial and their fine jewellery craftsmanship makes for a unique, discreet accessory.
The precision made rocking mechanism with ruby bearings is set off beautifully by the 18ct gold plated whale back arm and case. Ideal for the Horologist in your life with a detailed information card on the history of clocks and timepieces. Presented in a black display box with velvet lining.
How to wear:
1. Flip the bar so that it runs along the arm.
2. Line up the holes on both sides of the cuff.
3. With the face outwards, insert the cufflink through the cuff holes.
4. Flip the bar back to horizontal position.
Care and maintenance: As the mechanism is open, avoid wearing with loose fibred clothing where there is a possibility of snags. Do not immerse in water, clean only with a soft jewellery cloth.
Each cufflink measures approximately 2cm in diameter.
This is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
Please note that these cuff links do not tell the time, they simply display the inner workings of a timepiece.
