Awesome mug... F

Awesome mug... For work! This is the second mug I've ordered, due to the first one being ruined in the dishwasher (totally our fault for being lazy - we were aware of the fine print). The gift receiver, my husband, was very happy to have a second chance, and we've decided that this mug will be an office mug, where there are no dishwashers in sight. Fingers crossed that the no microwave thing will be remembered down the track.... But, for now, my husband is the coolest person in the office, and you can't put a price on that! So five stars.

heat changing effect worked really well and looked

Cool gift was well received, the heat changing effect worked really well and looked great. BUT.... Believe the fine print when they say it's not dishwasher safe, it really, really isn't. Chucked the mug in the dishwasher because, well, how bad could it be? Pretty bad as it turns out, all the picture had kind of slid off the mug. Totally our bad, because we were well aware of the warning and were just being lazy... One star off because who makes non-dishwasher/microwave safe stuff anymore?!?! PS, have just ordered a new one, will be more careful this time. PPS, I am not going to try the microwave just to do another review, too afraid of an explosion.

Best surprise present ever!

I purchased this as a gift for a friend who loves the Back to the Future movies. It was the best surprise present ever! He absolutely loved it, and spent about 30mins after I gave it to him just putting hot, then cold water in it to watch the magic happen! Highly recommended for fans of the movie!!
