The Apollo Lunar Module was the first manned vehicle designed to operate completely outside of the Earth's environment. In fact, the Lunar Module was structurally and aerodynamically incapable of flight throughout the Earth's atmosphere!
Remaining docked with the Command/Service Module during it's journey into lunar orbit, two men would transfer to the Lunar Module and separate the two vehicles. The Lunar Module would then begin its journey to the surface of the moon.
Now you can assemble your very own piece of history and display it on the bookshelf in your office, or in your bedroom! It's easy to assemble with no glue or scissors required, and should take between 120 and 150 minutes to complete!
Simply pop the flat-packed foam pieces out of their backing and use the pre-cut holes to slot the pieces together.

Comes with a cardboard display base.

Contains 104 pieces consisting of paper and polystyrene foam board.
