Very cool
Excellent product. No complaints. Read the instructions carefully and adjust the parts precisely. Don't hesitate to use sandpaper on some parts.

It was a birthday present for my boyfriend and he loved it! Eventhough it is an advanced level, each step is explainded carefully, which makes it so easy to follow. Every detail is perfectly taken care off and it does move smoothly. The only downside is that you have to be very carefull no to break any pieces while taking them out of the boards. We had suck a great time building it together!

Fun kit to build but have a LOT of patience! I'm fairly experienced with these kits. I've built 3 of them from 3 different manufacturers. All 3 were on the 4 to 5 difficulty range. Have upwards of 35 hours building this one.,more than any of the others. Wood quality is very good, instructions are quit clear,no script, just pictures. Only complaints I have are 1 . The camshaft gears are a little to thin . I broke 1 of 4 removing them from sheet 2. This is the only part I have broken in the 3 kits I've built! I glued it but it broke when operating the engine so I contacted them to get me a new part, hopefully they will send me one. Problem no. 2 I strongly recommend gluing the camshaft lobes in place on the shaft as I did as it is virtually impossible to assemble while holding these 8!! lobes in place. Just be certain that they are glued in exactly the correct position!!!!! Also most parts are very small! So have strong nimble fingers, good up close eyesight and again, Big patience! Also the small accessory pulleys are too lose and floppy so the drive belt goes out of place at times. Overall it was a fun and challenging kit to build! ENJOY! Also when basic assembly is done be advised it will take an hour or so to get it all to rotate smoothly, again, have patience and don't put the elect motor on until you are sure it operates smoothly in both directions . That's all I have to say about thaaaat.

this was a gift for my dad, who is 90 next week. he finds ugears one of the best & great for keeping his mind active. I have already given to him & he was overjoyed.

Very cool
This was the most complex build of a wooden DIY model that I have done. I enjoyed it as much as my UGears tourbillon clock! The only suggestion that I might have is that the black cord for representing the ignition wires frayed too easily, and I couldn’t reform it using pva glue..

Very cool
I seek challenging kits and this one delivered. I took extreme care to smooth and wax any parts that have relative motion and was rewarded by a first time smooth running.

For a piece of plywood it's quite remarkable. I dread to think what goes on in the minds of your designers. An amazing piece of kit, thank you

I was doing good till I put the engine block together and it would not turn over. As I looked at it I could see that the pistons really didn't line up. So I took it apart to try to adjust it all and broke the crank shaft pieces. That's why I need those parts. I'm going to try to use a 3d printer and try to make the crank shaft one piece and stronger. I'm an old guy and sometimes push the parts a little bit to hard. I have built about 40 of these models and they are lots of fun :). Thanks for any help you can give me.

Very cool
I’m continually amazed at the precision of the cuts and the cleverness with which the UGears designers are able to simulate 3D shapes by stacking flat pieces of wood.

Wore some pieces out taking it apart to try to determin why it was tilted to one end (V8 engine, header, part 37 but cannot find replacement parts. Will try glueing parts.

If you have experience in assembling constructors, then this model will give you heat :), check everything a hundred times, and then assemble, but the process and result will please you completely, because the model is extremely cool :). You can watch the review on the Incredible Gears channel.

This was awesome! Although this was my first wooden puzzle from you and my third overall, meaning I'm clearly not the most experienced modeler for a build of this magnitude, I just couldn’t resist buying it the moment I set my eyes on this magnificent piece of machinery. But with enough patience and carefulness, I managed to complete this fine work of artistic engineering in 5 days and it was all a joy. There were pretty much no issues with the assembly, aside from 2 very loose pieces where some glue was needed to keep them in place, and a very few overly tight pieces were impossible to snap into place without the use of a pair of pliers, which could damage some of the tinier elements if you’re not especially cautious. All-in-all, I am very happy with this product and I strongly recommend it to anyone who’s into modeling of any kind as well as enjoys a little bit of a challenge, since this one can indeed be tricky and somewhat frustrating here and there.
