A DIY Doodlebot is a cool, vibrating, drawing robot with a motor! What a fantastic STEM project for kids!

The Scribblebot Creator kit combines drawing and engineering as you get to create your very own drawing machine.

Use the illustrated instruction guide to build your doodlebot, then watch as your creation spins and struts across your table!

Leaving a trail of drawings in its path, why not give your bot a name, then try writing it using the doodlebot!

You'll create some super cool geometric artwork as the motor generates vibrations to create your work.

Adjust the angle and height of the coloured pens to make different patterns!

Your kit contains:

  • 62 plastic pieces including a base plate, transparent cover and motor with arm supports
  • Pen holders, arm ends, vibration brushes, and a switch cover
  • Coloured pens, screws, nuts and full instructions

You will also require a screwdriver and 1 x AA battery.

Recommended for ages 8 and up.

I have 3 infant and primary school grandsons. I was looking for a small stocking filler for them. The boys haven't received them yet-- but I've had a look of course. They look wonderful and should be lots of fun. I will need to buy them a ream of paper now as I know they will all be creating artistic drawings.
