These foam ball shooters are awesome, they are similar to the nerf dart guns in that they are air pressure powered, so there are no batteries to replace and they don't have to be recharged. The foam balls are easy to load, and they shoot a surprisingly long distance! They do hurt to get hit with if you're not expecting it. Its not as hard as a paintball, and won't leave a welt, but still snaps!

Very cute little toy. It is popular so far with kids from 8 to 20. It works well, and is safe to use. Yes, we like playing with toy guns at our house. The cats try to steal the balls, though.

Grandson really liked this. It comes with a good amount of balls, and is fun to use. The pressure sometimes doesn't seem to build up enough to shoot the ball a good distance, but it's fun none the less. We used it at the park and really had a good time wit it. My grandson dropped it and it held up just fine. Overall good.

Overall, decent toy. There's no spin imparted on the balls, though, so they tend to randomly flutter left and right. Fun, though, and the cat loves chasing them.
