In this scientific story-based STEM kit, our creative young heroine helps you to explore the basic principles of magnetism and magnetic fields.
From floating astronauts to magnetic slime, there are 7 cool and wacky experiments for you to sink your teeth into along the way!
To begin your journey, use the colourfully printed wooden panels to construct Pepper's experiment-and-play Rocket Ship and Mars Rover.
Play along with the Pepper Mint figurine as each experiment adds additional elements to your rocket:
- A magnetic field detector, compass, magnetic elevator, weightless Pepper and more!
Each project provides you with a short explanation of the physics behind it in a fun and engaging way that's easy to understand.
You will find out why magnets have powers, how to make them visible, and what magnetic fields are all about!
Your kit includes everything you need to complete each of the experiments, except a few common household items:
- Scissors, rules, tap water, craft glue, sticky tape, wood glue, kitchen knife and kitchen scales.
Read along as the story unfolds, and when you're done you can use your creations for infinite adventures and storylines!
