Use this story-based STEM kit to help Pepper Mint navigate her way through a series of small adventures to return home from Hidden Island.

There are 7 exciting experiments for you to conduct along the way as you find a number of useful application for the power of solar energy!

To begin your journey, use the colourfully printed wooden panels to construct Pepper's experiment-and-play island model.

Play along with the Pepper Mint figurine as each experiment adds additional elements to your island, including:

  • A sundial, solar wheel, salt crystal farm, solar cell, boat with vibration motor and lots, lots more!

Each project provides you with a short explanation of the physics behind it in a fun and engaging way that's easy to understand.

Your kit includes everything you need to complete each of the experiments, except a few common household items:

  • Scissors, ruler, tap water, clock, table salt, craft glue, sticky tape, transparent bowl, glass, teaspoon, stone, plastic wrap, wood glue, a sunny place (e.g. a windowsill) and possibly an incandescent halogen lamp.

Read along as the story unfolds, and when you're done you can use your creations for infinite adventures and storylines!

Recommended for ages 8 and up.
