Take every day items and watch them glow under ultra violet light, or reveal things that would otherwise be invisible! With 22 exciting experiments to choose from, you can follow along with the 48 page colour instruction manual that will guide you through the science of light chemistry.

Some of the best reactions will see you creating a magical blue light in a test tube, and witnessing coins and radishes glow in the dark! You will also discover a world full of luminous mysteries such as bright spots on bananas, fluorescent chestnut bark and discover glowing creatures in the sea!

Some experiments do require some uncommon items, but if you do have trouble sourcing an item, you can still perform the majority of experiments. You will require items such as a AAA battery, small cross head screwdriver, tree bark, soap bubble solution, a banana, tonic water, curry powder, coloured highlighters, dish soap, black paper, sugar cubes, a radish, paper towel and a small flashlight.
