This extraordinary wall-climbing Geckobot uses a motorised air suction system to move vertically up and down smooth surfaces such as glass, plastic, whiteboards and glossy laminates! What an awesome project to embark on over the holidays to stop the kids from climbing the walls!

The battery-powered motor drives an innovative gear system that creates a rotating motion, making the legs move back and forth and up and down just like a gecko! In an alternating motion, two feet touch the surface at a time using a vacuum, whilst the other two feet will lift off the walls and step forward! It will take you around and hour and a half to complete your project, so you'll need some patience for assembly.

Your kit contains all the parts you need to build 7 different models and conduct astonishing experiments with suction, to learn about air pressure and the mechanical physics of your unique device! You can put together an industrial robotic arm with vacuum suction cup gripper, a smartphone holder, suction tow truck and car, a crawling inch worm, suction gun and an ellipsograph!

Contains: 176 plastic pieces to snap and prod together to build 7 different models (one at a time), a 24 page, full colour manual to guide you through the model building process with step-by-step illustrations and scientific facts, plus a small tool for loosening parts.

Please follow the instructions closely when cutting lengths of tubing so that no errors are made.
