Great customer Service on 11 February 2019

I have used this site a number of times and have been thrilled with the products I bought. With my latest purchase I noticed too late that my order did not show my new address ( my error). I immediately sent off an email explaining the issue. Received a very friendly and professional response next day (Monday) and was advised that my order details had been updated and it was being processed as we 'spoke'. Wow. What great customer service. Some other on-line retailers could learn a lot. Thanks Coolthings team. Very happy customer and I will be back again.

Perfect fit! on 5 February 2019

I was thinking about a senior friend about to have major surgery on his hip and knowing he is not the world's best patient I wanted to find something fun to remind him that on such occasions that wives can know best in regard to following surgical after care instructions. The YES DEAR button was perfect, fun with the potential for a serious reminder but nothing heavy for either party.

I cannot recommend CoolThings highly enough :) It's been quite a number of years since last ordering from CoolThings but I didn't hesitate to place 2 orders in the last 8wks when I needed to online shop rather than face people & stores as I knew from previous experience in earlier years [beginning about Xmas 2006 using a different email...but nothing else has changed lol] that their services were A+.....communication was usually with Peter in the very early days. Also those were usually Xmas periods. I've been subscribed to their emails for the whole time even when I changed my email. Well very little has changed their end either except for growing bigger which is great. Everything is still A+!!! 1st order was for Xmas gifts complete with dispatchment email that included a photo of my package itself with address etc so I knew what to look out for - it all arrived safely etc. The 2nd order [ordered 4 extra of one Xmas gift item our 12yr old son loved!] arriving yesterday morning Thurs 24th. Which surprised me as I hadn't checked my emails for the dispatch notice given items were out of stock so order wouldn't be dispatched until it was all in stock.....so was advised approx Feb 6th for delivery. Upon opening the postage packing I noticed a sizing difference immediately with the 4 items ordered compared to the 1 ordered for Xmas. I took photos etc, lodged the details therein on the dispute page [which pained me as "dispute" sounds harsh anyway] at about 10:30hrs AWST then emailed the photos I'd promised within the next 15 minutes. I figured at least 5 working days for a reply thus next Thurs or Fri at the earliest so in my mind I was expecting nothing. But...nope....all done, dusted & sorted with Natasha & Anne-Maree by 16:30hrs AWST!!! With an email of my choice of options [perfect options...couldn't want for better] for solution. I replied with my choice. Another follow up email today from Anne-Maree confirming they would get onto it. So yep......the 100% 5/5 star reviews rating they have from 624...now 625 lol......is WELL EARNED!!!! Thanks Peter, Anne-Maree, Natasha & the rest of CoolThings team!

A wonderful experience on 11 January 2019

I was looking around for a decent music box for my girlfriend, and CoolThings came up. I didn't make the purchase initially because the items were not cheap. Until about 10 days before Christmas, I noticed things on my Wishlist have sold out, I quickly paid for my order. I knew the music box would be of excellent quality as I have viewed the video demonstration provided. What really set this experience apart from others was that the team sent out an email containing an image of the actual package that they wanted me to look out for. That was truly something I have never experienced before, and it added just that much personal touch to the whole experience. The music box arrived shortly in perfect packaging with strong protection (music box has a tailored packaging and was then put inside a bigger box filled with foam protection). Overall, the experience of shopping with CoolThings has been wonderful and worth my money. All the best to these guys!

Running out of time before Christmas I found the perfect music box for my daughter. Ordered it and hope for the best. Within hours I got an email with a photo of the package and to look out for it in the mail. By the following day it already arrived. And the music box is perfect! Very nice.
