Stand by for action. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... Thunderbirds are go!
Thunderbirds was a television series that sparked the imaginations of millions in the sixties...
And now, the 1960's sci-fi show is set to appeal to a new generation, as a 21st century version of Thunderbirds is making a return to the small screen, just in time to commemorate the show's 50th anniversary!
Featuring the Tracys, the family behind International Rescue saving lives around the world, the programme was so successful that it was broadcast in more than 30 countries! And now you can build your very own Thunderbird 2!
Coming with 34 pieces of foam board and step by step instructions, you can build a Thunderbird 2, normally piloted by Virgil Tracy, complete with launch pad with this replica craft set. When assembled your Thunderbird measures 20cm long.
In the BBC show, the Thunderbird 2 was a heavy-duty transporter aircraft that was designed to carry specialised rescue vehicles and equipment to disaster sites in one of six interchangeable pods.
Contains: Pre-cut sheets of foam filled card to build a lightweight 1:381 scale model of Thunderbird 2.
A fun family activity (particularly for dad) that is not too complex for kids, but stimulating enough to keep adult Thunderbird fans engrossed in creating their very own International Rescue vehicle!
No glue or scissors required.
Comes in retro style box measuring 21cm x 15cm x 2cm.
Recommended for ages 6 and up.
