a great hitBy: Brian L on 24 July 2010Peter, The 6 in 1 Solar Robot was a great hit with my nine year old grandson. We assembled it together and made the fan option. It sat on the table by the window and sprang into life every time the sun came out. I also have a digital voltmeter which we connected to it and he was very intrigued to watch the voltage rise up to the point where the fan started. He then took the whole lot to school science class and it really wowed them! All up, a great purchase.. and incredibly quick delivery! Thanks and regards. Brian
Solar Robot KitBy: Anonymous on 23 July 2010Although I have put together such things as broken bones my ability to assemble gadgets is at about the 5th percentile - I was excused woodwork at school. Hence I am unable to recommend the Solar Robot Kit personally. However, I gave the Kit to my grandson as a 10th birthday present. Although he had had a "sleep-over" (which involves having little sleep)at a friend's the night before, and in the morning had played soccer, in the afternoon going to another birthday party, after tea he got out the kit which he worked on steadily until 11.15 pm (slept for 11.5 hours)
This is a great little product. My 11 year old sonBy: Tracey S on 26 September 2009This is a great little product. My 11 year old son just loves it. It is worth the money and works better than I thought it would. A little parental help will be needed for the first build (easy for mums) but after that everything just clips together.
