This Smartivity Mechanical XyloFun Kit allows children to explore and create music, sounds and different vibrations!

It contains all the colourful bells and gears you need to assemble your very own mechanical Xylophone with rotating barrel.

Learn about music notation and compose your own tunes with the included bells, mallets and neatly aligned gears.

Simply insert the pegs into the slots of the drum according to one of the included music sheets and turn the crank around and around.

As the drum rotates, the pegs will hit the mallets, which will in turn hit the colourful bells to make music to your ears! You can even make tunes of your own!

Your kit comes complete with a richly illustrated, easy-to-understand, step-by-step instruction booklet that allows young engineers to fit every precision cut wooden piece into place with ease.

Includes: Instructions for composing two simple tunes, and 208 pieces that slide together, held in place with rubber bands – no glue required!

This activity will take approximately 90 minutes to prepare and construct.

Can be painted, decorated and coloured once assembled. Made from high quality non-toxic engineered wood.

Recommended for ages 8 and up (adult supervision recommended).
