Each experiment is designed to provide a fun introduction to robotics as you construct 7 motorised machines that are controlled via programming and a sound sensor.

To begin driving your robots by R/C, you'll need to install the free app on your tablet or smartphone that connects to your robots using a wireless Bluetooth connection!

When you’ve had a bit of practice, you'll even learn to write your very own programs for your robots using an easy, visual programming language in the app!

Using the touchscreen interface of your device you can drive your robots wirelessly, write programs to control your robot's motors, and use the sound sensor to program your robots to perform specific sequences of commands in response to the number of claps it detects!

You'll even have the freedom to command your robots to move for different lengths of time, at different power levels, in different directions!

Using the triangular and pentagonal shell building pieces you can:

• Construct a giant robot with two motors and a sound sensor inside a hollow, spherical shell
• Build a robot with two jumbo-sized wheels
• Assemble a Bigfoot Bot or a robot that crawls around on two humongous feet
• Program a funny dancing robot that can shake, wiggle and twirl on command
• Make your own robotic game of cornhole and try to toss the pieces into the hole as it moves around
• Construct robots that resemble and mimic the movements of a penguin and a horseshoe crab

Each robot design comes with a pre-set program that you can run immediately after building it. What will you command your robots to do?

Your kit includes: 182 building pieces and a full-colour 60 page step-by-step instruction manual for assisting with your build as you learn about robotics in the real world.
