Discover the chemistry behind fascinating fluorescent materials and phosphorescence with 5+ dazzling neon light experiments!
Each experiment uses bright, neon pigments, or special materials that absorb and reflect more light than usual to make them glow!
Cast your own glowing neon sidewalk chalk in fun shapes, build eerie plaster figurines, and mix up solution to make your own glowsticks!
You will even learn to make regular garden flowers glow, among other glowing activities using items from around your home!
The box it comes in becomes a black-light display box to assist you with your learning and observations.
Your kit includes:
- 2 x glowing neon pigments, a UV flashlight and glow-in-the-dark star stickers
- Plaster for sidewalk chalk, special tools and moulds, and a full illustrated instructions guide
You will need:
- 1 x AAA battery and a small Phillips head screwdriver to activate your UV flashlight
- Tonic water, various flowers with white blossoms, the bark of a tree and other common household materials.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.
