Astronaut Ice Cream

This makes a great gift!! I have been giving them instead of chocolates and people really appreciate the uniqueness - but buy one to try for yourself as well, they really are a delicious eating experience (there is something surreal about dry, chunky ice cream)

This stuff is crazy!! Its kinda like a crunchy bar in the way it melts in your mouth, but icecream flavour! mmmmmmmmmmm

THIS IS REALLY TASTY. I recently bought this for my friend for his birthday. I was going to give it to him, but couldn't resist, so I opened it and had a taste myself. It is really NICE!!!!!!

This is a fantastic gift idea. My son is also using it to hand out during his "Space" project.

I have great memories of eating delicious space food as a child at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC, and have never been able to find astronaut ice-cream since. That is, until I came across Coolthings!

I was so happy to find them, I immediately ordered three. My partner has now developed a taste for astronaut food also, so it's probably time to order more...

This stuff is really cool; kids love it, even before they try it - not to mention the odd grown-up!

It was really nice, tasted exactly like ice cream.

The product size was a little small though, I was expecting something larger...was only about the size of your palm.

This stuff is really great, an almost sensual experience for both your taste buds and tongue. It legitimately gets a creamy texture after it comes in contact with your saliva. The different flavours are very easy to pick as well. Only thing is the serving size is tiny, so if I were you I'd buy two.

I am a food technologist who takes a kindergarten class for a regular session on food science and cooking.

The kids had a space day where they dressed up as astronauts, stars and planets.

They discussed the types of food that can be taken into space and tasted some astronaut ice cream. It was a big hit and introduced the kids to dehydration as a means of food preservation!
