The Stegosaurus is a large and unusual dinosaur that roamed the earth many, many years ago. Characterised by it's distinctive tail spikes and plates, the Stegosaurus has a large, heavily rounded back with very short forelimbs and a long, stiff tail. It also has small teeth that help it to eat low-growing fruits and moss!

Now it's your turn to uncover, and investigate a fossil of the fascinating dinosaur yourself!

Containing a thick plaster block from which you can 'excavate' the different bones of a Stegosaurus, this kit comes complete with a sturdy digging tool and miniature hammer.

Uncover the bones like a real palaeontologist and follow the pictures to assemble your dinosaur! You may want to frame your masterpiece or create a stand to present it on.
