Australian Fossil Discovery Kit

Reveal what secret lies beneath by chipping away the earthen-like upper layer just like a real palaeontologist!

This kit allows budding 'palaeontologists to be' to scrape away a soft plaster material to reveal the hidden fossil replica.
The Australian Fossil Discovery Kit has been manufactured in association with the Riversleigh Fossil Centre located near Mount Isa, Queensland.

Kit includes:
- Cement based fossil replica set in a block of soft plaster.
- Scraper tool.
- Palaeontologist Brush.
- Cardboard stand to hold the excavated fossil.
- Instructional Leaflet including information on Australian Fossils.

One of three different fossil replicas may be found - The Diprotodon (Marsupial Lion), Obduradon (Platypus) and Thylacine (Tiger). Just like a real palaeontologist, you won't know which one it is until you reveal the fossil.

The included instruction leaflet includes clues to help identify the fossil.
